In cooperation with E. Gulbis' Laboratory, the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Health, Riga Airport has provided an opportunity for all passengers arriving in Latvia as of 2 December to perform a state-paid Covid-19 RNA test, as required by this week's Cabinet decision.
Testing at the Airport will be performed by E. Gulbis’ laboratory and will be available to all arriving passengers. We would like to remind you that according to the government decision the voluntary free test is available to all travellers, including those with an interoperable vaccination or recovery certificate.
Testing points for arriving passengers are available at the following locations:
- for passengers entering from the Schengen Area – in the arrivals hall E, at the exit from the terminal;
- for passengers entering from outside the Schengen Area – in the arrivals area C before the border control.
These points will be available for most of the day; however, when these testing points are closed, the test can be taken at E. Gulbis Laboratory branch on the 2nd floor of the Airport.
According to Cabinet Regulation No. 720, passengers must go to their place of residence, stay or tourist accommodation immediately after the test to wait for the result of the test. In the event of a positive test, contact your GP immediately and maintain strict self-isolation.
