On 3 May 2022, a delegation led by H.E. Ms. Huo Yuzhen, the Special Representative of China-CEEC Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China together with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Latvia H.E. Mr. Liang Jianquan visited the Ministry of Transport of Latvia.
The meeting was hosted by H.E. Ilonda Stepanova, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Transport of Latvia. Since the global COVID-19 epidemic outbreak in 2020, this was the first onsite meeting with a delegation from China at the Ministry of Transport of Latvia.
At the meeting the parties’ exchanges views on bilateral and China-CEEC cooperation in transport and logistics and agreed to maintain close and regular communication on issues of common interest and concern, especially on maintaining and enhancing transport links between China and CEEC.
